Pucci print dress!
Many of you know about my cutting mishap with this Pucci-inspired fabric. Even decades of experience do not make one immune to silly mistakes! But, thanks to Sherry Doty, who so generously offered me her piece, the dress is now finished! I used the same vintage pattern, Simplicity 6672, that I used for my graduation dress back in May.
The dress will be making it's debut this evening at my father-in-law's birthday birthday bash.

Very pretty! I'm so glad for you that Sherry was able to help out with the extra fabric. Have fun at the party!
I discovered your blog a few days ago and have enjoyed reading through some of your older posts. The dress is lovely--I really like the combination of the pattern and the fabric. I recently saw this same pattern on eBay, and wondered how it would look made up for "modern wear". Now I know! :)
Wow! I love this dress - the fabric, the pattern, everything!
Beautiful dress! I love it!
Gigi ~ both pieces are amazing ~ the dress and the tank! Love, love, love the fabric!

Gigi - I think this your own personal Energizer Bunny pattern...it just keeps going and going and going - each one is better than the last!
Thank you all for your nice comments! This turned out to be a really good dress for eating Italian food, lol.
Lovely fabric and it looks so right as this dress!

I was searching for one of your older posts on neckline modifications and saw this dress. I immediately went to google and found the pattern. I've been looking for the perfect dress pattern for an upcoming wedding and I'm 3 months pregnant ... all of the maternity patterns just did not do it. This one is a winner!
