Happy Holidays

I have spent the last few days decorating the inside of my house. Christmas decorations always cheer me up so now I can enjoy them for the next 5 or 6 weeks. I won't be decorating the outside this year (aside from door wreaths and poinsettias) as, 13 months after hurricane Wilma, they will finally be starting on my new roof this week! I can finally say goodbye to buckets, leaks and ceiling stains and will gladly put up with the mess and the noise.

BTW, I made the Hot Patterns Cosmopolitan Dress on Thanksgiving and it is FABULOUS! I will post some pics and a review as soon as I'm able. Wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday season - hopefully, I will be back with you shortly.

Hi Gigi,
My parents finally had their roof replaced in Florida( same hurricane) and it made a huge difference to their feeling of safety and comfort. Putting up your Christmas decorations will start the process for you. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with only good things and much happiness!

Enjoy that new roof - and here's hoping the infernal overhead hammering is done very soon. Our "new" roof is already 15 years old, so we're hoping for another hail storm real soon. ;-) I'll look forward to your Cosmopolitan Dress review; I'm about halfway through making one for the DD.

What a cute twee ornament. I hope that your son gets better soon.
Wouldn't that be the best gift ever?

I'm always excited to decorate the house for the holidays. Good for you that you got the tree up early. I love your gnome!

I think that if if Project Runway offered a Jay McCarroll Bobblehead, it would look exactly like your tree ornament.

Gigi,
I attended Naturopathic Medical School. Please consider giving your son Milk Thistle Extract(Silymarin). The liver can actually regenerate itself. I usually buy at iherb.com. The prices are great.

best regards,
linda

Hi Gigi, I found your website, it is really eye candy. Great job !!

I noticed in your blog that you have AAADD.

I have problems organzing and following thru also. A close friend has ADD. I began using a series of CDs that I ordered and they have made a tremendous difference in my mental outlook. My friend has begun using the tapes and she rarely has to take any medication now.

The CDs are part of a program called Centerpointe; you can google the name and the site will come up. I am in no way connected with this company. I have experienced wonderful results in using the CDs. You can order for a trial free. Centerpointe has two sales (May and Dec) and I order my tapes while they are on sale.

Blessings, Connie

Gigi - you've been in my prayers as I hope your son is feeling better! Would you enterain a question from me Gigi? I think I asked you about a year ago and cannot seem to find our exchange! : - ( Your sewing room has the beautiful slatted wall units for your sewing tools. Where did you get them and what are they called? I went to Lowes Home Improvement and they didn't seem to have any. I finally have a little sewing corner to call my own and would love to put up a few of these slat organizers. A sincere thanks and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
